New launch: fair winds to 52m Vitruvius M/Y Spirit.

We have proudly celebrated the launch of the new 52-metre Vitruvius M/Y Spirit, a fully custom project created to bring its Owner’s unique vision to life.

Designed by Vitruvius Yacht Design, led by Philippe Briand and Veerle Battiau, with interiors by FM Architettura, M/Y Spirit embodies a contemporary vision of refinement, where wellbeing, privacy and a seamless connection with the sea define every moment on board.

Natural light, generous volumes and carefully balanced interior and exterior spaces create an atmosphere of quiet sophistication, while refined materials and understated detailing enhance the yacht’s calm, harmonious character.

As M/Y Spirit begins her journey, she perfectly reflects Tankoa’s boutique philosophy: transforming each Owner’s vision into a yacht crafted around uniqueness, uncompromising quality and meaningful moments at sea.

Turning dreams into yachts. Fair winds to the new 61M Project Dream.

Tankoa Yachts has celebrated the coin ceremony of the new 61-metre full-custom Project Dream, marking an important milestone at its Civitavecchia facility.

Sold in summer 2025 and scheduled for delivery in early 2029, Project Dream combines exterior design by Horacio Bozzo Design, the naval architecture and engineering by Axis Group Yacht Design, with the interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, as selected by the owner.

Designed to offer the volume and presence of a much larger yacht while preserving the versatility of a 60-metre platform, Project Dream is conceived around seamless liveability, generous outdoor spaces and a deep connection with the sea. Expansive beach areas, dedicated wellness areas and refined social environments reflect a vision where every detail is shaped around the owner’s lifestyle.

With the coin ceremony now complete, construction continues towards the delivery of a yacht designed to be as unique as the dream that inspired it.

Civitavecchia hub: enhancing our production site, building your vision.

Tankoa Yachts continues to strengthen its integrated production model between Civitavecchia and Genoa, where the two facilities operate as a single industrial hub for the construction of custom superyachts.

The Civitavecchia facility, covering more than 34,000 square metres within the port area, is dedicated to core construction phases – from steelwork to systems installation and early outfitting – all carried out according to our quality standards. Once completed, hulls are transferred to Genoa for final outfitting, commissioning, sea trials and delivery, ensuring full continuity and control across the entire build process.

This integrated approach ensures consistency, technical excellence and uncompromising quality at every stage, reflecting a structure designed not only for efficiency, but to deliver a higher level of care, attention and tailored craftsmanship devoted entirely to each owner’s vision.

T720 Fenice: new owner for Tankoa’s 72m full-custom yacht.

Tankoa is proud to announce the sale of its new 72-meter full-custom superyacht, T720 Fenice, to an American client.
Evolving from the shipyard’s successful T680 Fenice model, the project has developed into an even more refined vessel, distinguished by a series of subtle details throughout. Conceived as a fully custom yacht, T720 Fenice has been shaped around the Owner’s vision from the very earliest stages of development. The exterior design is by Enrico Gobbi’s Team for Design, while the interiors have been entrusted to Giorgio Cassetta.

An achievement that marks a further step in Tankoa’s growing engagement with the US market, showcasing the shipyard’s proven ability to deliver highly bespoke projects in the 70+ meter segment.

61-metre full custom: a whole other superyacht has been sold.

Our brand-new superyacht project of 61-metre has been finally sold. This new vessel is a fully custom, one-off creation which reflects our boutique philosophy and commitment to crafting yachts entirely tailored to each owner’s vision, from the blank page to the finished vessel.
From the very first stages of the design, the identity of this 61-metre yacht becomes evident, where meticulous attention to detail and a clever use of functional space take on a central role. Both the exteriors and interiors will be presented later. They have been developed by external designers in close collaboration with the owner and the Tankoa Centro Stile, with the aim of creating an atmosphere of effortless luxury and style.
Scheduled for delivery in February 2029, this new unit has been sold to an American client.

OTAM’s business division – A brand-new acquisition.

We are glad to announce the acquisition of OTAM’s business division. The transaction, finalized in full agreement with the two founding families, includes both the historic shipyard in Genoa and the OTAM brand. The dockyard activities in Santa Margherita Ligure will remain under the ownership of the current owners.
The expansion project presented at the beginning of 2025 continues successfully. The OTAM facility covers approximately 4,800 sqm of covered areas, 3,300 sqm of open-air spaces and a water basin of nearly 10,000 sqm, complete with existing infrastructure and operational workshops. We will undergo a restructuring and upgrading program that includes extending concessions, consolidating and reorganizing these areas, and building new production sheds in line with our current needs.
An operation that goes beyond facilities and infrastructure: the OTAM workforce is being integrated into our team, ensuring job continuity while enriching the shipyard with new skills and experience. The OTAM brand, with its long-standing heritage and solid international reputation, thus becomes part of Tankoa’s portfolio.
With this transaction, we further strengthen our bond with the city of Genoa, reaffirming our role as an ambassador of Italian yacht building excellence and consolidating our presence in the region.

Our first hull built in Civitavecchia. Firstly, our owner’s.

The first hull built at our new Civitavecchia facility has reached our headquarters in Genoa. It is a 45-metre yacht from the T450 series, another unit of which was recently launched. This transfer marks a significant step in Tankoa Yachts’ broader strategy for growth and development.
Our shipyard has held a concession in Civitavecchia since December 2023. Key production activities – including hull and superstructure construction, machinery installation, and initial outfitting – were all completed on site. The transfer by sea involved a multi-phase logistics operation: the hull was first transported on trailers from the facility to the quay, then loaded onto a barge and towed to Genoa, where it was offloaded at Tankoa Yachts’ private docking area. The voyage took approximately two days, and the yacht has now been moved into one of the yard’s sheds for final outfitting ahead of its launch.
The Civitavecchia project is a key part of our strategic expansion plan, which has made it necessary to enlarge production capacity. At the same time, it strengthens Civitavecchia’s role as a new hub for high-end yacht construction, within a port that combines strong potential with a long-standing maritime heritage.

T450 M/Y Singolare: a new launch towards a singular experience.

We are proud to announce the technical launch of M/Y Singolare, the second yacht in the Tankoa T450 series. Measuring 45 metres in length and designed by Giorgio Cassetta, this highly versatile model continues to attract growing interest, following the success of the first unit, M/Y GO. It is backed by a dynamic production line that includes a third 45-metre hull and two 50-metre T500s currently under construction and already sold.
M/Y Singolare is a true expression of our boutique philosophy: generous and flexible volumes, refined detailing, and technical solutions that enhance both functionality and onboard comfort. Tailored to reflect the lifestyle and personal taste of its South American Owner, this new vessel sets a new benchmark in the compact superyacht segment –further strengthening our presence in international markets.
Delivery is scheduled for this summer, with an inaugural cruise in the Mediterranean, followed by a winter season in the Caribbean. And for those eager to discover it in person, M/Y Singolare will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
It awaits you there, and so do we.
